2nd day on the job in madison, wi

i just moved to madison, wi this past weekend so that i could start my new job at epic systems. they are a software company that creates people-centric software for large hospitals and health care providers. basicly that means anything that has to do with the patient and their experiences at a hospital or clinic, epic has software for it.
my job is as a technical services person supporting the EpicRx software. eventually after my 3-4 months of training are done i will be asigned a few customers that use EpicRx and any time they have a problem, change, or concern they call me. which means i get to solve lots of weird and varied problems along with programming any custom changes they want to the software.
epic seems like a great company to work for. their customers love them because they are straight shooters, honest, dependable, and gosh darn it… epic acctually cares about their customers as if they were part of their family.
all in all im more excited now than before i came, i think its going to be a great opportunity for me.
