Today is a very special day. It is official – we are pregnant! We took the test today (Saturday, September 22, 2007) a few minutes ago (around 1pm) and I peed on the stick. As soon as I pulled the stick out of the stream (yes, the stream of pee) it was a plus! I can’t explain how excited I am! I have tears in my eyes and I can’t stop smiling. I just can’t believe it! I really didn’t think it would happen this quick. This is more exciting than I had ever imagined.
So far I don’t have many ‘symptoms’ – I’ve been more tired than usual and pretty hungry, but that’s all. I’m excited for my boobs to get big and my tummy to stick out. It’s definitely fun looking at all the websites and absorbing all of this new information.
I’m calling my doctor on Monday to make some appointments and I can’t wait to have some pictures! Speaking of pictures, Marc will be documenting my every body change so you will be able to see how big I get!
Since I will eventually pop, we are affectionately calling our child Poptart for now.
