wren was supposed to be taking a nap, but this is what she was really doing. she didn’t make a lot of noise or cry, we just heard scratching and a little movement. normally she falls alseep after about 15 minutes, but this time she wouldn’t go to sleep until heather went up there, covered her with the blanket, and then told her it was time to sleep. i wish i could time lapse my sleep to see what i’m doing.

wren loves to eat just about anything she can get her tongue on, especially her oball. her tongue looks so funny! this was taken on my cell phone so that is why the quality is junky.

i can’t believe it, wren is 5 months old already. she is getting big. she now can roll over like no one’s business, sometimes multiple times in a row. when she is on her belly she can pull her legs up under her and be on her knees, and she can push up on her arms, but she doesn’t quite get it yet that if she did both at the same time she could start crawling. instead she just kicks a lot and gets frustrated that she can’t get places. i’m sure she will be crawling sooner than we are ready.  she also can now grab both of her feet, which she loves doing. she can even get her toes into her mouth now.

wren is doing good on toilet! she hardly ever poops in her diaper, she nearly always holds it for when she is on the toilet. ever once in a while in the middle of the night her diaper will be dry, but most of the time she still pees in her diaper and goes when on the toilet. it is pretty crazy, but kind of cool. it might come in handy when she starts solids!
