heather, marc, wren & z mroz

heather says the technical term for what wren is doing is not scooting as i call it, but it is creeping. i guess creeping is what you do before crawling. anyways, wren is one creepy girl. she can can creep her way around the room, getting to anything she wants (or should i say anything she isn’t supposed to eat). she was doing this scooting stuff more and more before our vacation, but in seattle visiting the soemo’s, she seemed to turn it up a notch. i think she liked seeing all the soemo boys and scooting to all their fun toys.

food that is. i can’t believe another month has come and gone. wren is already 6 months old. crazy. tonight wren ate her first “solid” food! (not that mushy rice cereal and breast milk is really all that solid, but i guess it is more solid than milk by itself.) wren seemed to do a good job eating. we can’t tell if she liked it or not, but she didn’t spit it up. although if she did spit it up, that would have made for a better video, sorry. all in all i think her first semi-sort-of real eating went good. check out the video of wren eating solids for the first time in her life.
