2009 January at heather, marc, wren & z mroz

Marc and I were trying to teach wren how to clap her hands because we thought that she should be able to do it pretty soon. We kept clapping and saying ‘Yay Wren!’ and she would just smile and laugh at us. We even tried to grab her hands and clap for her and her arms didn’t seem to reach (awww she’s so chubby). Anyway, she loves mirrors and she loves electronic anything so when I pulled out the camera and showed her the display of herself she clapped!!! So this is her first time clapping caught on tape. Yay Wren!

sorry for the delay of not posting anything new in the last few months. we i kind of got lazy with the holidays, me being off of work, going on vacation, and shoveling snow. we weren’t that good about taking photos on our vacation to seattle or even of christmas, but here is what we got.

Wren totally almost but not quite crawled on her hands and knees tonight! She got like one or two hand moves and a knee nudge.

wren went from crawling to sitting today… and then face planted into the floor.

Wren learned how to splash in the bath today. She would get really happy every time she did it, and smile really big. Then she would suck the water off her hands.

Heather’s idea to help wren’s diaper rash go away… Make wren’s entire bed into a giant diaper and let wren take her nap with no pants to air it out!

Wren just made the sign for milk! And earlier today she said mama! What a day!

wren says… mamamamamamamamamama!

while nursing tonight wren started pulling and playing with her own hair. she loves hair. she always pulls and plays with other people’s hair, but not her own until tonight.

wren learned how to clap her hands together for the first time today. now when you clap your hands and say “yeah wren!” she smiles really big and claps her hands.
