While I was sewing after dinner… marc and wren were laughing histerically running laps in the hallway (I guess it's probably not laps if it's not a circle…). Marc said it was wren's idea… 'do you want to run with me papa?' and marc asked where and she said 'in the hallway' and as they were running she said, 'this is fun papa – we're running together!' They were running back and forth for probably 10 minutes.
Wren's been toilet trained during the day for maybe 6 months now? We decided to try to tackle nap and night training and see how it goes. The plan is to try for 3 weeks and if she really doesn't respond than we will go back to diapers. We are basically just waterproofing the bed instead of her and going to wake her up to go before we go to bed. She has a little toilet in her room which she can use by herself, but I'm not so sure she will in the middle of the night. I'm excited that I will be done with diaper laundry for at least 3 weeks even if it means more bedding laundry! (not that I didn't enjoy diaper laundry… I'm just more excited about the newborn diaper laundry than the two diapers a day I had from wren… those are kind of annoying)

Ok, so Luke already showed them to us, but we don't have them (and ours didn't turn out as well) so here he is doing his thing. Then we went to my dad's house and he and wren picked green beans, tomatoes and one cucumber. Wren actually loved doing it despite the picture of her carrying the bowl full of veggies (maybe she was just starting to realize this was an attempt at cheap child labor?… totally kidding). It was great to see everyone and definitely worth all the driving and crabby wren for the 3 hour trip home (and I'm not being sarcastic).
If you think this is the most bizarre thing ever written on here please let me know. Marc's making fun of what I'm writing and maybe I am being kinda weirder than my normal self, but we will blame it on the pregnancy. (AND he tried to delete these last two sentences!) "I'm telling you the whole thing is not good – it's bad all around"

She found a neck pillow she told me she needed and was excited that she knew how to use it… by putting the strap around her neck.
