skyping…

Wren asked marc if grandma lynn and gpa could come over and he said maybe… she then said "skyping is kind of like coming over because you get to see people talking"

Cousins!

Luke, Sarah and Zachary came to visit!  We went to the farmer's market yesterday and the park today.  SO MUCH FUN!!!!

First Family Bike Ride!

We bought bikes and a trailer for the kids.  We finally found helmets for both of them so we took a ride tonight.  We just rode over to a nearby park, but we all had a lot of fun!  I put the camera in a pocket in the trailer by wren and I guess she was trying to help me document it all (hence the picture of me pedaling). In the picture of Wren and Marc she is doing the papa sign. I thought she was just being silly with some weird hand gesture, but she announced that she was doing the sign for papa!

titus park date

We had fun at the Titus park date last week!  Ms. Tracey brought books and ended up reading to a bunch of the kids.  Wren loved it.

park with friends!

We had fun at the park today!  I can't believe Wren and Olivia are on the big swings now!

shave ice

We recently discovered that madison has shave ice!  We went to a nearby park and then headed over to the shave ice truck!

Olbrich with Grandma Sue

I know it's been forever! We've been enjoying our summer and uploading pictures is on the bottom of the list.

My mom visited us a couple weeks ago and we went to Olbrich Gardens with her.  We got to take some pretty pictures and wren took some of me and my mom.  She also took the artistic shot through the bridge.  Z didn't make it in any of these since he was sleeping most of the time…

Frisbee Rain

Last night was the party and finals for ultimate frisbee.  Marc's team didn't make the finals, but we still wanted to go to see how good the winners were (REALLY good).  We knew it might rain, but as I think all of you know, we don't do umbrellas and we kind of like getting wet.  Well, it POURED!!!  We didn't even stay through the whole game.  The kids loved the rain and z just kept squealing and laughing.  I was cracking up the whole way back to the car I could barely walk.  We were so wet!  Here is a pic of marc and the kids under our picnic blanket (notice z is barely covered and loving it).
