z still doesn't walk very much but he could if he wanted to!
in the last week or so z has been getting really good at creeping and sort of crawling. he is moving all around now!
z is 6 months old today, and he got to try solid food for the first time. he had a bit of pear. we couldn’t really tell if he liked it or not. he didn’t make any weird faces so i’m guessing he mostly liked it.
I’ve never seen someone so happy to get out of taking a nap! He was all smiles when I finally gave up trying to put him down. Oh… and he obsessed with eating his shirt.
happy birthday today g-pa!
i’m not sure why wren said happy birthday to you and to z…
here is the rolling man! He loves to roll!
wren’s new you tube obsession.
Wren had her first ever happy meal today. I have some video of her with her 'fairy barbie' toy that was included with her meal… you might get to see it sometime this weekend… She never really knew what a happy meal was and when I was asking her how she liked her 'happy meal' she didn't know what I was talking about (and called it something else… can't remember!). We had a fun time at the mall and of course the food court.
z is three months old today. he was very smiley for grandma sue!
grandma sue and aunt sandy video extravaganza

i’m not really sure where wren got this evil laugh from!
for some reason wren likes to exercise, go to the toilet with her foot, and her skin is bad. sorry the video quality is sub par, this is from heather’s 1992 phone.
hanging out with the soemo’s on new year’s eve just playing some minute to win it games!
gospel brunch at the house of blues
0 Comments Published by marc December 26th, 2010 in pic a day, videograndpa jim took us out to the house of blues for a gospel brunch. we got to listen to this gospel choir while we had brunch. it was very cool. wren liked it but she told the choir leader, who was greeting people as we left, that it was “too loud,” he laughed and smiled.
wren is obsessed with this monkey flipper thing
2 Comments Published by marc December 10th, 2010 in pic a day, videowren saw this “monkey flipper thing” as she calls it, at target a month or more ago. she and heather wanted to show it to me. by the time we were all at target together it wasn’t working. it was laying on its back and you would press the button and it wouldn’t do anything.
ever since then wren has been obsessed with finding one that works. every time we go to target she wants to check if it is working. wren and i went to target early one morning and a bunch of employees were having their team meeting in the aisle and we told one of the workers that they should fix it. we checked at toys r us, and they had one there but it wasn’t working too.
we go to home depot and wren wants to see if they have a monkey flipper thing. we go to kohl’s same thing. no matter where we go.
finally they fixed the one at toys r us, and wren was able to show me the monkey flipper thing! the video below isn’t from the first time i saw it working, we had to return something at toys r us so i thought we’d take a video and share the famous monkey flipper thing.
by the way…. this thing is more fun at the store than i’m sure it would be at someone’s home. i’m sure it would get old even if it does say 80 things!
we started calling z, zbert and zman. wren was listening and is calling him that too now.
we randomly got the book “all God’s critters” from the library like 2 times ago, but wren still remembers and sings the song.
we setup our christmas tree. it was a lot easier this time with wren. she was able to help with the branches and with the ornaments. we only broke one ornament this year and it was because i dropped it.
